What is National Funded Programme?

The National Traning Fund is responsible for the national funded programmes in order to enhance or bridge the gap between the skills required by the employer and with those the job seekers have Training Tied with Employment through MOM and enables the Employers to select candidates for job positions from the Workforce Register and train them through the Training Institutes which will help companies achieve their Omanisation percentage.
Self Sponsored Training funded and provided by employers.
Training is delivered as per the tailored made requirement of the employer depending on the Job trade and even the selection criteria of the candidates is determined by the Employer.

Benefits To The Employers

Employers do not pay salaries.
Employers do not pay the training fees.
Omanisation % is considered during training.
An internationally qualified trained employee.

Employer Commitments

Employment of minimum of 1 year after the programme.
Pay PASI during the training programme.

Implementation Process

Coordinating with MOMP job seekers database.
Screening and filtering the database based on specialization and region.
Conducting multiple level assessments to evaluate knowledge, skills and attitude.
Filtering the final number and conducting personal interview.
Final interview with employers and sponsors (Funders).
Assigning candidates to suitable groups to start training programme.
