v  Recognise the function of accountancy and audit in communicating, reporting and assuring financial information and in effective financial control and compliance

v  Prepare budgets for planning and control

v  Compare actual costs with standard costs and analyse any variances

v  Explain and apply performance measurements and monitor business performance

v  Prepare simple consolidated financial statements

v  Interpretation of financial statements

v  Understand the importance of personal effectiveness as the basis for effective team and organisational behaviour

Teaching/Learning Strategy

The main teaching method will be based on power point lectures, videos, E-learning, IT- Lab. The students will be working directly on emerging technologies. Most of the work is particle practice based during lecture sessions. Course material is provided accordingly. Also, For Practical/ Project assessment student has to choose any one 1 project from the given project pool. Clear guidelines will be given in the project files example Guided learning hours – Practical and work-based learning – Assessment preparation time – Assessment time – Supported study time.
