| Summary | This qualification is for learners who wish to develop their skills and knowledge in managing health and safety for the workplace. They will have an autonomous role in their organisation for managing health and safety policy and practice. They will report direct to or be part of the senior management team. They will recommend and implement changes relevant to their role. | Student Outcomes | On completion of this Program the student should be able to:
(a) Consider the issues relating of the full scope of occupational safety and health. (b) Become familiar to occupational environment of physical, mental and social well-being of workers (c) Be able to organize and communicate an effective safety program. (d) Know how to identify and target hazards, specific to your organization and take actions to prevent incidents and related costs

| Teaching/Learning Strategy |
The main teaching method will be based on 30% power point lectures, videos, and 70% practical exercises supported by tutorial sessions. Simulated work environments and resource-based learning facilities. These facilities enable students to work at their own pace, particularly in practical sessions. |

| Pass Requirement | Min 60% for theory exams and practical exams
